Folk and Popular Culture
Aim: Understand where leisure and recreational elements of folk culture and popular culture are distributed and why they have different distributions (major factor will be media impact), analyze the distribution of pop and folk culture such as food, shelter, and clothing. Examine concerns raised by globalization and the impact it has on folk culture.
